The Berta Franquet, harvest of 2009 is, for now, the only product on the market Cellars winery Sabaté Franquet, of Torroja del Priorat. This is a young wine, a half-natural breeding, intense and powerful, quiet 8 months in new American oak barrels. The broth contains an excellent summary of the three grape varieties (40% Mazuelo, 30% Grenache and another 30% Cabernet Sauvignon), without any added reinforcement.

A wine that reflects the author's philosophy approach the product before the real Priorat wine. And, in turn, is a "wine village" (as distinguished label): the Cellarer control the entire creative process, from planting and harvesting of the grapes from their own farms (harvest is late in October, which makes possible the optimum maceration of the grapes) to the final packaging and bottling.

Currently, wineries are preparing the next Sabaté Franquet marketing a mellow wine of the highest rating.
